Welcome to BookTrip! Holding an account is free, you can sign up for an account from the home page of Website. Go to BookTrip.co.in and click "SignUp". Sign up lightning fast by connecting with Facebook, or sign up with your email address. Account created! Advantages: Signing up is very easy Check your complete booking history made with BookTrip.co.in. This will include your booking amounts, refunds processed, cancellations and amendments done.


How to Update Email or Mobile No in BookTrip Account ?

We do not allow updation of email ID or Mobile number associated with your BookTrip account due to technical reasons.


How to Changing subscription and notification settings ?

Changing your subscription and notification settings lets you control how often you hear about your travel, offers and promotions. You can turn them completely off/on, or pick which notifications to receive.We're still enhancing this feature!


How Can I reset my Password ?

Go to BookTrip.co.in , Click "Sign In" and click “Forgot Password?” below the empty login form fields. Type Your Contact No listed under your Booktrip account in the form field, and press “Reset My Password” Within seconds, you should receive an OTP with instructions to reset your account.



  Payments & Refund


Where can I check my refund status ?

You can check the status of your refund in 'My Bookings' section of www.BookTrip.co.in and select the Cancel booking to get to the "Refund Details" section.


Can I Make Part Payments ?

We currently do not support this facility though our website / mobile app.


Card Payment Declined ?

Please check with your bank if you have sufficient balance in your card and if your card is currently invalidity.
OR try with a different card / bank account again.


Can I Pay by Cash ?

We currently do not support this facility. Kindly initiate your payment online though our website / mobile app.


What are the various payment options offered by BookTrip ?

Booktrip is using a Secured Payment Gateway of PAYUMONEY. Where You Can Select the following payment options -

Credit / Debit Card (Visa and Master)
Maestro Card
American Express Card
Net Banking (Domestic / International)

We now also accept international cards for payment though our website


Can I make payments through my mobile ?

Yes, our site is accessible on mobile website and you can make your bookings and complete your transactions through your mobile phone.


While I was paying by net banking, my ‘session expired’. Why so?

Your session expired due to security reasons. This happens when you take too long to make the direct debit payment and don’t manage it in the specified amount of time.
Please go back to the booking page and start over.


What are the modes of receiving refunds from BookTrip

While Cancelling of your booking, you get refund in your original mode of payment of via Payment Gateway Direct to your bank Account linked with your card. Refund to original source of payment - will get credited with the refund amount within 5-14 working days.


By when can I receive my refund in my account after cancellation of my booking?

All refunds are processed by the method of payment used in the initial transaction. Once you have cancelled your booking, the refund is processed by Booktrip within max 10 business days. An e-mail & Sms confirmation of the refund amount will be sent to the email address & Contact No given to us at the time of booking.
However, for the amount to reflect in your bank or credit card account is dependent on the time taken by your bank thereon. For any discrepancies and delays, kindly check directly with your bank or credit card company. Where the User has cancelled his/her booking.

How do I write a guest review about a hotel ?

First Signin. Select the "Rating Option" in Your Profile , click on "Review Us" Button and then Give "Hotel Rating " and "write a review".


What is the difference between a hotel's guest rating and star rating ?

There are key differences between the two:

Guest rating are Given by customers visited to hotels.

Hotel rating is given by a recognized authority.In India, the classification of hotels is based on “Star” and “Heritage”. Hotels in India are classified by Hotel and Restaurant Association Classification Committee (HRACC), Ministry of Tourism, India.


Who writes the guest reviews and where can I read reviews submitted by other guests ?

Customers who have booked a hotel through BookTrip can only share their experiences regarding their stay via "write a review" for that booking.Open any hotel details page on Booktrip.co.in and scroll to the bottom, and get all information .


How often can I write a review, when will my review be published ?

You can write a review every time you book with us and stay at the hotel booked. These reviews will be published after moderation as helpful information to the traveller community.Every review we receive undergoes a very strict verification process from our end. This is done to ensure fake reviews do not creep into our system. We normally take a couple of days to moderate post which we publish your review.


If I write a review of a hotel, can the hotel contact me about it ?

We let the hotels reply to your review on our community platform. Since you have stayed at the hotel, they may have your contact details and can chose to get in touch with you to get more information.


Can I edit my review and does BookTrip.co.in amend any reviews on their own?

Yes Guest Can Edit their Reviews.
First Signin, Select the "Review Option" in Your Profile , click on "Edit Review " Button and then Edit the Give "Hotel Rating " and "written review".


Why isn't my review posted yet or why was my review rejected?

Every review we receive undergoes a very strict verification process from our end. This is done to ensure fake reviews do not creep in our system.

There are other important parameters for rejection E.g. unpublishable words may have been used, gibberish, unlawful activities could be touched upon, reviews which we think do not conform to our content guidelines are not published by us.


How will the data I submit be used ?

Review data submitted will be used in the hotel review window. Reviews once submitted become the sole property of Informant Tech Services Pvt Ltd and used in any way deemed fit but always within legal framework of the jurisdiction permitting.


How can I delete my Review ?

Yes Guest Can Delete their Reviews Any Time.
First Signin, Select the "Review Option" in Your Profile , click on "Delete Review " Button your Review Has deleted successfully.
